Quality Assurance & Safety Officer (m/f)

Dutch Caribbean Air Navigation Service Provider N.V.
DC-ANSP serves as the air navigation service provider for the Curaçao flight information region (FIR) boasting over 18 years of experience in guiding aircraft through the skies, ensuring seamless landings and departures in Curacao and Bonaire and overseeing efficient air traffic management in the Curacao Flight Information Region. Additionally, we take pride in our role to publish aeronautical information for the six islands of the Dutch Caribbean.

DC-ANSP’s main priority is to deliver safe, efficient and environmentally sustainable air navigation services while leveraging innovative technology and foster collaboration with stakeholders within the ATM industry.

 Your core responsibility:

Contribute to ensuring compliance with established quality and safety standards in delivering air traffic services.

You will be:

  • Contributing to enhancing safety within the organization by managing the Safety Management System (SMS);
  • Investigating and analyzing incidents within departments;
  • Conducting audits, preparing audit reports, and suggesting improvement measures;
  • Proposing performance standards for safety, quality, and security management systems;
  • Identifying opportunities to implement “Best Industry Practices.”


You have:

  • A completed HBO-level education or equivalent with leadership skills;
  • Knowledge and experience in the field of air traffic services and/or aircraft operations;
  • Knowledge of quality and safety systems (SeMS, QMS, and Safety Management system);
  • Knowledge of incident investigation, human factors, and auditing;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English, and basic knowledge of Spanish.
