TNCC - Construction work project upgrading Fillet RWY 11 (WEST).
 
The purpose of this Supplement is to indicate that a construction project will take place starting on September 10th, 2025, and will conclude on November 30th, 2025.The fillets of RWY 11 (WEST) will be upgraded.

Refer to drawings.

Part of Holding bay 11 and RWY 11 will be closed in order to execute the construction activity.
 

Civil work

  • Clearing and grubbing, excavating, compacting
  • Application of fill material, compacting/ finishing of fill materials, application of base material 
  • Compacting finishing of base material, application final layer, finishing work,cleaning of area
 

The type of equipment on TWY and RWY during project.

  • Pick-ups
  • Heavy equipment's (cold milling machine, asphalt machines, excavator, brume machines trucks etc.)
 

Operation

Work areas will be closed off with safety barriers and obstruction lights.
Obstacle barriers/indicators (frangible) will be placed.
The construction activities will be carried out as much as possible during night hours when the Aerodrome is closed for commercial operations.
NOTAMs will be issued to indicate the exact dates of closure and additional measures incase RWY needs to use during closure times.
 
 
This AIP SUP 17/25 - Construction work project upgrading Fillet RWY 11 (WEST) hereby supersede AIP SUP 16/25 - Construction work project upgrading Fillet RWY 11 (WEST).
