DC-ANSP was founded as Netherlands Antilles Air Traffic Control (“NAATC”)
which was incorporated in Curaçao on 9 February 2005 and became operational on 1 April 2006.
DC-ANSP is an Air Navigation Service Provider (“ANSP”) which is responsible for the
Air Traffic Services (“ATS”) within the Curaçao Flight Information Region (FIR).
We operate 3 air traffic control facilities: an Area Control Centre located in Curaçao and two Aerodrome Control Towers,
one located at Hato Int’l Airport (Hato Control Tower) and the other one located at Bonaire Int’l Airport (Flamingo Control Tower).
Effective training is a key factor in the replacement of controllers
retiring over the next decade.
DC-ANSP has a Training Centre, with the capability to efficiently
and effectively train the controllers needed.
DC-ANSP records all flights in the Curaçao FIR.
The overall flight movements are being categorized as follows:
• Outbound flights (Departures): All flights departing Hato Int’ Airport, Beatrix Airport and Flamingo Airport.
• Inbound flights (Arrivals): All flights arriving Hato Int’ Airport, Beatrix Airport and Flamingo Airport.
• Domestic flights: All flights between Hato Int’ Airport, Beatrix Airport and Flamingo Airport.
